SUMMARY
The Director of Marketing & Communication advocates for customers and potential customers with everything we do. Responsible for crafting relevant marketing and communication plans, this person will be a dynamic and strategic leader who brings energy and passion into the business and who will encourage and inspire collaboration among a broad and diverse team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Represent the voice of the customer, keeping the brand, brand voice and marketing plans laser focused on solving their problems and delivering a great experience.
- Deliver compelling, differentiated, and relevant storytelling to elevate the United Alloy brand position across everything we do.
- Assist in defining United Alloy’s overarching commercial strategy, clarifying the key industries, segments, customers, products and services to deliver business goals.
- Drive awareness and consideration among key customer groups for long term growth including advertising, PR, social media, trade shows.
- Drive interest in United Alloy as an employer of choice, particularly among skilled trades.
- Lead the team in ensuring seamless internal company communication plans, supporting executive leadership as well as plant leaders in cascading critical communication.
- Collaborate on identifying and crafting sales enablement materials critical in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Elevate United Alloy’s digital experience ensuring the brand website delivers a modern customer experience.
- Build, manage and mentor colleagues, agencies and support resources ensuring unified approaches and cohesive collaboration.
- Agile and adept at doing a lot with limited resources.
- Partner with and influence colleagues to elevate brand position.
- Guide development of sales materials and employer of choice materials.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor(s) degree in related field (preferred Business/Marketing/Communications).
- 8 years of proven experience in a variety of marketing, strategy, product management, training or communication.
- 5 years of experience leading team members in marketing, strategy, product management, training or communication.
- Proven track record of success in B2B marketing, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally as needed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This will be a hybrid position based out of Janesville, WI.
- Occasional travel may be required, approximately 10%.
