SUMMARY:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a hands-on team member that will also manage all maintenance crew necessary to ensure plant operations: installation, maintenance, and repair machine tools and equipment, electrical systems, heating/cooling systems, facilities, structures, or equivalent
Hours: Monday - Friday (OT as needed)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for the effective planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of maintenance projects to staff
- Coordinate with outside vendors, service provides, and contractors as needed
- Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent,
detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. - Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
- Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or
equipment use. - Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting
and repair of production machines and cranes. - Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
- Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or
repairs. - Oversees general building maintenance repairs and services
- Coordinate outside services for lawn care and snow removal.
- Responsible for alerting Operation team of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that
may occur. - Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Track repair and maintenance expense in addition to capital expenditure requirements for machine, equipment,
and tooling to ensure expenses are within budgeted amounts. - Responsible for the creation and completion of all maintenance service requests
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a maintenance technician
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in industrial maintenance
- Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations
- Must be familiar with metal fabrication concepts and processes.
- Must have experience with maintenance of fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.

- Ability to apply commonsense and understanding to carry out detailed and written or oral instructions.

- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and
occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist. - Must perform all duties in conjunction with UAI and ISO requirements
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This will be an onsite position in Seguin, Texas.
- No travel requirements.
- If selected for the role, a drug screen and physical and background check will be conducted.
