SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of assigned projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide supervision to project management team by providing guidance, assigning projects, and providing training where necessary.
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all goals and objectives are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
- Define and develop project management processes to help improve the efficiency and execution of engineering, capital and continuous improvement projects within the organization.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience working in product development or a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
