Compensation

Summary
The Insurance Representative is responsible for handling the negotiation and settlement of total loss insurance claims, partial loss claims and GAP claims.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with insurance companies to negotiate and settle total loss insurance claims to ensure UACC receives maximum settlement amount.
- Assess values of vehicles with the information available to determine fairness of insurance settlements.
- Initiate GAP claims upon receipt of total loss settlement.
- Communicate with Title Department to ensure timely release of lien on total loss settlement.
- Communicate with consumers to facilitate timely processing of GAP claims.
- Confer with insurance companies and repair facilities to ensure repairs are properly completed on partial loss claims.
- Handle inbound calls and emails for new claim notifications.
