This position offers a remote work arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to work from their preferred location within the Southeast region while frequently traveling within Texas.

DUTIES:
Market Expansion & Sales Strategy:
- Lead the Texas growth strategy, building relationships with independent agents to expand our footprint
- Develop and execute strategic plans for market expansion, analyze regional competitive positioning, and implement targeted marketing initiatives to drive agent engagement and production
- Oversee sales incentives and agent commissions, ensuring an effective compensation structure that aligns with company goals
- Build and maintain productive relationships with independent agencies by conducting regular visits, evaluating agency performance and market share, and providing education on UAIC’s products and underwriting guidelines
- Respond to agent inquiries regarding UAIC’s services and ensure consistent follow-up and strong organizational practices
- Work closely with underwriting, marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and risk appetite
- Provide field insights to support product development and pricing decisions
- Deliver regular performance updates to executive leadership, leveraging KPIs and data analytics to drive informed decisions and identify growth opportunities or potential risks
- Utilize Salesforce, Tableau, and other analytics tools to drive insights and decision-making
- Ensure all distribution efforts align with Texas insurance regulations and market trends
- Education: Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, communications, marketing, finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Experience: 5 years of P&C insurance experience with a focus on auto distribution
- Established relationships with Texas non-standard agents and strong market insight
- Strong operational and sales acumen with experience in commissions, overrides, and growth strategies
- Licensing: 220 license preferred but not required
- Technology Skills: Tech-savvy, innovative, and comfortable leveraging data analytics tools like Salesforce & Tableau
- Travel: Ability to travel within Texas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio) and as needed
- Other: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
