What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Training Coordinator Assistant position at United Bank of Iowa?
As a member of the UBI team, this position assists the V.P. Loan Development Administrator in training the loan support staff and new lending staff. The position will assist with creating recordings and training modules for self-taught units to be available on the shared drive. This position is knowledgeable in loan resources and training, and will become a reference for the loan team of UBI in order to provide continued growth in all loan positions. Selling and promoting all bank services in such a way as to satisfy customer needs and enhance the bank's image within the community.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in finance, economics, agriculture, business, or related field; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Strong reading, writing, and verbal skills to analyze and interpret financial reports, professional journals, and governmental regulations; compose moderately complex correspondence and reports; and effectively present information to customers, managers, staff, and directors in one-on-one and group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate amounts such as interest, discounts and percentages, and interpret complex financial reports.
REASONING ABILITY:
Comprehend and understand bank operations, policies (manuals), and procedures.
Independent judgment to recognize and maintain confidential information.
Recognize and resolve a wide variety of practical problems involving common sense judgment, tact, and on-the-spot decisions.
Understand and apply standard loan review, credit, and lending concepts and principles.
