JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
The Lending Assistant will provide administrative and lending support to Lenders.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute pre-closing tasks of commercial lending; including, but not limited to ordering title, appraisals, survey, flood certifications.
- Inputting and analyzing financial statements and tax returns
- Coordinate loan processing activities – work with loan operations team to ensure that loans are closed and loaded in the system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review loan documents as prepared by outside counsel and coordinate loan closings.
- Partner with lender in efficiently processing draw approvals and wires, and other funding methods.
- Ensure loan documents and files are imaged properly and timely.
- Partner with lender in monitoring past due loans, maturing loans, insurance policies, monitoring and clearing technical exceptions, timely recording of mortgages and related documents.
- Ensure compliance with loan policy, regulations, and procedures.
- Effectively manage customer communications (verbal and written), problem resolution, and provide excellent customer service.
- Support business development activities.
