What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Operations Officer position at United Bank of Southwest AL & Northwest FL?
The Loan Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Loan Processing, Loan Loading and Paid Outs. This includes monitoring each area for the adherence to written procedures and the need for additional training. Work is also monitored for accuracy and compliance to applicable State & Federal regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mentors direct reports through ongoing training & development
- Ensures timely and accurate processing and boarding of loans
- Ensures that collateral is released in a timely manner
- Ensures compliance is followed in each area
- Audit and Exam support
- Loan Reporting as required
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws
- Provides guidance and oversight to and is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the assigned team
- Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; associate compensation; addressing concerns and resolving problems
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned
