United Bank & Trust is seeking a candidate with outstanding customer service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Full time position with competitive benefit package. 40 hours/week, M-F between hours of 7 :45am - 5:45pm, Saturday rotation 8-noon.
Major Function:
Responsible for ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance adherence in the teller department. This position will also perform regular teller duties by processing a variety of transactions, answering questions and concerns, while developing relationships with customers.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Teller departments' daily operational tasks, including, ordering cash, balancing vaults, filing CTR's, processing mobile deposits, and balancing ATM's.
- Create Teller work schedules to ensure adequate coverage to assist customers, communicating with Retail Banking Officer as needed for additional coverage needs.
- Provide leadership and general direction and guidance to Teller staff.
- Ensure Teller team answers incoming phone calls, directly handles and/or research routine requests, questions, and concerns, or determine appropriate employee to transfer call to.
- Onboard new employees and provide continuous training to Tellers on product and service knowledge, customer service, compliance, and operational tasks.
- Assist the Retail Banking Officer with interviewing, hiring and performance management of Teller staff.
- Provide servicing support to customers by assisting with routine transaction requests, account maintenance requests, questions, and concerns in person and via phone.
- Assure the consistent delivery of customer service to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Assure confidentiality of customer information and adhere to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Identify customers' needs through effective listening skills, asking clarifying questions, and communicating opportunities to the customer, referring to other lines of business as appropriate.
- Represent the bank by portraying a professional image.
- Represent the bank and promote a positive image through active community involvement.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Associates degree, and 6 months minimum teller experience or cash handling experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
