Job Summary:
The InfoSec/ Vendor Management Specialist position performs various assigned duties related to the monitoring and review of the Bank’s Information Security and Vendor Management Programs. This position works closely with the Information Security Officer/ Vendor Management Coordinator to ensure that all vendor reviews are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with Bank policy.
General Description / Duties:
- Assist with vendor due diligence reviews – to include the gathering and review of documents, updating vendor data in the software, performing service reviews and risk assessments.
- Assist with the onboarding of new vendors.
- Assist with user access management reviews for all bank applications/ systems.
- Work with system owners to remediate access management review findings.
- Assist with review of system parameter changes to include new hires and terminations.
- Position will be required to comply with all Federal and State banking laws and related regulations, to include but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job / Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous banking experience preferred.
- Possess effective communication skills.
- Detail oriented and accurate, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
- Ability to learn, apply, and comply with all Federal and State banking laws and related regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient computer skills working with spreadsheets, word processing, utilizing the internet/intranet and active engagement using new technology.
