Job Title: Wealth Advisor
Job Summary:
As a Wealth Management Advisor, you will provide personalized financial guidance to high-net-worth individuals and families. You will help clients manage their wealth through strategic planning, investments, and estate planning solutions tailored to their unique financial goals. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver comprehensive financial services and foster long-term client relationships built on trust and expertise.
General Description/Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement customized wealth management strategies for clients, considering their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
- Advise clients on a variety of financial matters including investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, insurance, and estate planning.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with clients by providing continuous, personalized support and guidance.
- Analyze clients' current financial situation and offer recommendations to improve or maintain their financial health.
- Stay updated on financial markets, trends, and regulatory changes to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as tax professionals, legal advisors, and investment specialists, to deliver holistic financial solutions.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, and other client acquisition strategies.
- Works with employees throughout the bank to bring these services to our banking customers.
- Monitor client portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to align with financial goals and market conditions.
- Prepare and present reports on financial performance, investment strategy, and client progress.
- Communicates directly with customers regarding buy and sell orders. Verify authenticity of these transactions and ensure execution on a timely basis.
- Responsible for making sure that all securities received are in proper order and are not restricted or reported missing or stolen.
- Attends monthly Committee meetings to report the status of all referrals and trades.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices in wealth management.
- Position will be required to comply with all Federal and State banking laws and related regulations, to include but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or related fields preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple, understandable way.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Highly ethical with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and work in the best interests of clients.
- Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) preferred.
- Will be required to obtain CTFA or CFP® designation once certification eligibility requirements are met.
