What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Janitorial cleaning position at United Building Maintenance?
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers
- Clean glass surfaces, and mirrors - Sweep, mop.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
-Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must pass a background check.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
Skills:
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
