About the Position...
The Portfolio Manager II is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The Portfolio Manager II (PM II) is responsible for managing an existing book of loans/relationships by performing a variety of tasks such as quarterly monthly calls to all existing clients, annual site inspections, analysis of client’s financial statements, staying on top of approaching maturities to ensure that renewals are submitted timely to avoid unnecessary extensions, ensuring that loan files are complete and in accordance with Bank policy, and for actively managing technical exceptions. The PM II is also responsible for providing service to those client relationships by identifying their financial needs and filling those needs with the wide range of products and services offered by United Business Bank. These products and services may include extensions of commercial and/or real estate credits, demand, cash management, savings or time deposit account products or other services offered. They are responsible for knowing all aspects of loans including CRE, C&I, Construction, Lines of Credit, Letters of Credit and other complex loans. They are responsible for analyzing loan requests and determining whether a loan is within an acceptable risk within the framework of the Bank’s policy and for preparing the required documents and submitting it for approval. The PM II is equally responsible for monitoring economic conditions applicable to the client’s financial condition as it may relate to increased risk to the Bank. The PM II will support the Regional Team Lead – Portfolio Management, the Chief Lending Officer and the Lending team with other duties as assigned. In addition, the PM II will perform all duties accurately, timely, efficiently and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines, as well as the SBA SOP, if appropriate.
Qualifications

You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:
Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree in Business or related field, preferred.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of banking and lending operations and procedures, as well as the various regulations and standard banking practices.
Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years' experience in the financial services industry.
Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to identify, analyze and handle credit requests.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
