Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Desktop Engineer with expertise in asset management to join our IT team. As a Desktop Engineer specializing in asset management, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets within our organization, ensuring accurate inventory management, and optimizing asset utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in desktop engineering or a related role with a focus on asset management.
- Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA IT Asset Management) are a plus.
