Job Title: Flight/Drone Operations Support Service / Ground Support Operations / Visual Observer (GSO/VO) – Tier 1

Location(s): Charlotte, NC & Pineville, NC – ONSITE
Shift: Rotational
Nature of the Job:
- This is NOT a pilot position.
- Primarily Ground Support, with minimal Visual Observation (VO), which is expected to be phased out in the near future.
- Participate in periodic client-provided training to maintain relevant skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
- Possess a current driver’s license.
- Possess a valid 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (does not need to be current, but must not have been suspended or revoked).
- Participate in Vendor's FAA drug and alcohol screening program.
- Must have successfully completed required client-provided training for Ground Support and Visual Observer roles for client’s Part 135 Operations.
- Maintain operational communications with the client’s Remote Site Lead using client-provided equipment.
- Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in client’s UAS Maintenance Manual) during GS duty shifts.
Key Notes:
- Tentative Start Date: March 31, 2025
- Training: In-person must attend 7-day paid training is scheduled for March 17th in Dallas for the selected consultants. All Charlotte-based resources are required to attend this session. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
- Commute: There may be occasions where commuting between client locations is required. All related expenses will be reimbursed and paid per mile.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
