ABOUT THE JOB
Under the general supervision of the Managing Director (MD) or Wealth Advisor (WA), the Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing and monitoring client relationships. The RM focuses on client satisfaction with specific attention in client interaction, client development, operations, and account maintenance.
WORK YOU’LL DO:
- Tracks client interactions including requests, inbound/outbound calls, and emails via Salesforce.
- Prepare outgoing client correspondence.
- Prepare meeting materials and actively participate in client meetings, documenting all notes, action items, and ensuring timely execution of client commitments.
- Research and analyze complex client account issues, providing solutions and guidance where necessary.
- Oversee the client onboarding process, coordinating the creation of financial plans that reflect the client’s financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Guide clients in the gathering of information, such as bank account records, income tax returns, life and disability insurance records, pension plans, or wills.
- Gather data to assist in the creation of comprehensive client financial plans, utilizing CFP expertise to incorporate all aspects of tax, estate, retirement, and investment planning.
- Prepare or interpret client’s information, such as investment performance reports, financial document summaries, or income projections.
- Manage the development and maintenance of suitability documentation using client file standards, ensuring that all financial recommendations meet regulatory compliance and suitability requirements.
- Collaborate with the Managing Directors or Wealth Advisors to provide in-depth analysis on advanced financial topics such as tax minimization strategies, retirement income planning, and risk management.
- Process Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) for clients annually, ensuring they are optimized based on the client’s overall retirement and tax strategy.
- Maintain and update lead pipeline to support business development goals.
