Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association’s (HVCPA) Early Childhood Center has provided services to the Putnam County community for over 15 years. A community staple, the Early Childhood Center is a childcare program licensed by the Division of Child Care Services (DCCS) of NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) based in Brewster, NY.
The team is currently hiring for a part-time Preschool Teacher Aide. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Teacher with instructional services.
- Helping students with the functions of daily living.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly appearance of the classroom.
- Work with students individually, in small or large groups, toward the mastery of their IEP/IFSP goals.
- Assist Teacher with clerical duties.
- Daycare available for your child at a reduced employee rate. Hours are from 8:15 to approximately 2:30, making it a great opportunity to have flexibility with your schedule. Tuition reduction for your child (baby, toddler and preschool services). The work schedule follows the Brewster Central School District school calendar (we're closed when Brewster closes for snow days, breaks, holidays, etc.).
Job requirements:
Graduation of HS or GED program.
Experience in childcare is preferred.
Compassion for patients and passion for working with vulnerable patient populations
Pay range: $16.00 per hour
