REPORTS TO: Program Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Directly and Indirectly up to 30 employees
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Supported and Independent Living (SAIL)
SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, assists in managing the day-to-day program functions including supervision of staff, may provide direct personal care, monthly and quarterly reporting of customer activity, program billing of services to funding sources, and other administrative support as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: One year of college course work (30 units) of social work, counseling, therapeutic recreation, adapted physical/special education or related human service field with a minimum of three years of experience working in day or residential programs serving persons with disabilities. A BS degree with an emphasis in human services may be substituted for one year of experience. Must obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
Language Ability: Ability to read and analyze a variety of documents. Must be able to write and communicate complex information within the scope of job functionality. Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor. Must be able to develop and document lesson plans.
Math Ability: Knowledge and ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Computer Skills: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling and MITC software experience.
Driving Skills: Must possess a valid CDL and have clean driving record as well as operate a vehicle in good working order for employee transportation. Must have proof of ongoing auto insurance on personal vehicle.

DUTIES:
Provide program development and implementation is such areas as:
• Life skills
• Customer employment readiness
Provide program support in such areas as:
• Assists with management activities in the event of the absence of the Program Manager
• Monitors documentation and data recording/collection in 24 hour customer binders inclusive of communication and medication logs
• Assists with service plan implementation and evaluation
• Evaluation and reporting on customer activity
• Provide input for ISP
• Mans Emergency Phone line during off duty hours
Administrative support:
• Documents records of business transition
• Ensures consumer and personnel files are in compliance
• Assists with billing for services
• Documents transaction reports for funding agent
• Reviews submitted customer paperwork from staff
• Supports or facilitates staff meetings
• Reviews all timesheets for accuracy
• Schedules employee shifts weekly including IHSS schedules
• Communicates with VMRC relating to customers issues/crisis situations.
• Customer home Health and Safety inspections
• Management of IHSS cases
Customer and Staff support
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, staff, and stakeholders
• Assists customers to emergency hospital as needed
• Provide staff supervision, training and performance feedback
• In partnership with Program Manager writes staff evaluations and other supervisory documents as needed
• Participates in interviews for new staff
• Manage or provide supervision of medication distribution
• Ensure customer and employee welfare and safety
• Monitor staff vehicle maintenance
• Assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Participates in customer meetings such as IPP, VMRC or residence meetings,
• Attend required agency meetings and training or meetings as requested by Program Manager
• Provide support in the absence of staff
• Provide support in the absence of Program Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full time hours. $18-$20/per hour depending on experience.
