Looking to make a difference in an innovative and dynamic non-profit agency? UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.
Internship Responsibilities:
- Processing intake paperwork and ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
- Keeping medical records updated with patient info.
- Reviewing the discharge clients.
- Entering in proper format in our EMR system.
- Calling the PCP offices for outstanding plan of cares.
- Update the bulletin boards in the therapy clinics.
- Look at resources in the community for new clients.
- Complete any other administrative duties.

Qualifications
Education requirements:
- Must be an actively enrolled college student.
- Time management and multi-tasking.
- Interpersonal skills, ability to work with a team or individual work.
- Ability to work with students and staff with various special needs.
- Professionalism, including an understanding of HIPAA and FERPA laws.
- Oral and written communication ability, computer literacy
