Job Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are looking for individuals who are eager to join the field of Respite Care! In this position you may work with children, teens, or adults in roles ranging from caregiver to mentor/advocate.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as playing or personal care needs including feeding, chores, and/or bathroom support.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- May need to assist with medication administration (Will be trained)
- Read and adhere to client care plans
- Communicate ongoing support updates with supervisor
- Engage individuals in social activities or hobby to promote well-being
Experience
The successful candidate should possess:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with advocacy, teaching, and/or caregiving OR ready to learn!
- Reliable!
