Site Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and daily operations of programs for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role involves creating a positive, inclusive environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and fostering engagement and growth. The Site Supervisor provides leadership to staff, ensures compliance with United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada’s best practices, and policies, and oversees program activities to align with the mission and vision of the organization.
Job Duties:
Program Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and activities designed to meet the needs and interests of Team Members with a focus on fostering independence and skill development.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff, including the Assistant Site Supervisor, to ensure cohesive and effective team performance while fostering a positive work environment.
Role Model: Consistently demonstrate job competencies, model appropriate workplace behavior, and actively participate in enrichment activities to encourage staff engagement.
Communicator: Act as a liaison among staff, Team Members, providers, caregivers, and organizational leadership, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels.
Essential Functions: The Site Supervisor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Organizing daily activities, volunteer opportunities, and site agendas to ensure engaging and structured programming.
· Reporting staff complaints and assisting with problem solving as needed.
· Assisting in managing behavioral challenges among Team Members using appropriate strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment.
· Ensuring adequate supervision of Team Members and Staff to maintain program quality and safety.
· Providing guidance to Team Leaders for accurate and timely documentation and reporting of essential information in a timely manner.
· Mediating minor disputes, enforcing policies, and serving as a liaison between employees and the organization.
· Maintaining regular communication with United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada Management and representing the agency at Team Meetings, as requested.
· Completing all required paperwork, including but not limited to quarterly reports, habilitation plans, timesheets, JDT sheets, and daily or monthly documentation, in a professional and timely manner.
· Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to staff to encourage professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age with a valid photo ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States
· Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
· Must have reliable method of travel to work site
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to lift 25-75lbs with assistance
· Must demonstrate a desire to work with people with disabilities, and a willingness to learn.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with disabilities strongly preferred.
- Supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, special education, or related human services.
- Driver's License
- Registered and Insured vehicle
Reports to: Director of Programs and Services
Classification and Required Conditions of Employment:
- Part- Time; Non-Exempt
- Criminal Background Check (Paid by UCPNV)
- CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment - paid by UCPNV)
- Shift hours are Monday – Friday, 9am until 3pm (Shift hours may vary based on program needs, and flexibility in scheduling)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
