Part time openings Available/ Brewer location
The Preschool Support Teacher works in the classroom with lead and assistant teachers to provide support to clients teaching daily living, communication, social and safety skills. The Preschool Support Teacher also maintains accurate documentation and records, and implements the philosophy, policies and procedures of the organization. Part Time position from 8AM-12PM
Requirements
- HIgh School Education or equivalent
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire (provided).
- Must obtain Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire (provided).
- Must obtain BHP certification within 12 months of hire (provided).
- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains daily documentation.
- Support the child’s learning and goals.
- Ensure the use of safe play skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
- Follow each child’s treatment plan.
- Maintain client safety at all times.
