Summary of Position
The Operations Assistant is a key member of the operations team at United Charter High Schools. The Operations Assistant I is responsible for keeping the school organized and efficient while maintaining a professional and friendly environment for parents, students, and staff.

- High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred
- At least 1.5 year experience working in a school or youth development environment
Essential Job Functions
Administrative Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors.Receive and greet students at entry.Assist with lunch duty, hallway duties, classroom transitions, and dismissal; Monitor halls, cafeteria, bathroom access, locker room access and other such spaces as neededFill in at the reception desk in the front office as needed.Administrative tasks, including but not limited to : filing, making copies, setting up for meetings, receiving, inventorying, sorting and distributing mail and distributing supplies.Assist with classroom and office set ups.Assist with event set up and break down.Screen phone calls and route to the appropriate party.Assist with the preparation of bulletin boardproject materials.Serve as the school staffing liaison to support all hiring-related activities in coordination with the Principal, Director of School Operations, Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Team or other personnel designated by the Principal.Student Attendance
Support in ensuring student attendance is taken by teachers for all class periods during the school dayAssist with calling parents or guardians to verify student absencesAssist with recording and reconciling student absences in student information systemAssist with review, enter, and file all attendance notes submitted to the officeAssist with maintenance of master student attendance recordsAssist with completion and submission of attendance in ATSAssist with the maintenance of the use of the attendance verification toolGenerate daily, weekly and monthly attendance reportsParticipate in weekly student attendance review meetingsSalary Range 45,000-50,000
Secondary Job Functions :
Support with school events, including fire drills, scanning, sports, events and emergenciesAdditional responsibilities as needed consistent with the general nature of the position (Home Visits, attendance investigations and interventions, etc).Required Knowledge and Skills :
