What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Director position at United Christian Youth Camp?
Position Summary: The Dining Director is responsible for menu planning, staffing, scheduling, leadership in the dining hall, inventory, and ordering.
This position is connected to the faith and mission of the camp and moves forward the mission and vision of UCYC.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and accountability of the Food Service Budget
- Maintain current relationships with vendors for best price and quality
- NPS for the dining hall on guest surveys
- Hire all food service staff
- Complete schedules, as needed, to staff the dining hall and kitchen
- Ensure accurate food and product inventory
- Submit orders for the dining hall
- Communicate with finance department about invoices and ensure that they are being placed in the correct area
- Overall menu planning and execution
- Ensure maintenance of food service equipment
- Be an active participant in the Infrastructure Team and contribute to the overall success of the guest experience
- Other duties as assigned
