We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the Senior Care Program Assistant position at United Church Homes. Responsibilities:
- Promote wellness activities for all residents, including setting up onsite or mobile health care services and screenings.
- Coordinate educational events for residents, families, and staff on available community resources.
- Assist residents in building informal support networks with other residents, family members, and friends.
- Coordinate volunteer support programs with service organizations in the community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in social work - preferred
- Two (2) or more years' experience working with social service delivery to elderly population
- Working knowledge of resources available in geographic location serving the community
- Must be able to proficiently operate a computer, the Internet, Microsoft Office, other relevant software, and basic office equipment
