Job Description
We’re seeking a Freelance UX Lead to drive UX strategy, design, and execution for a high-profile digital project. This role requires a hands-on expert who can lead the UX process while balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for defining and structuring the experience of immersive storytelling and e-commerce sites for both B2C and B2B brands.
As the UX Lead, you’ll partially wear the Product Manager hat, guiding requirements, defining workflows, and ensuring that UX solutions align with business goals. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and clients to bring concepts to life, using Figma as the primary design tool.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is comfortable working with challenging stakeholders, and enjoys translating complex needs into seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Execution
Lead UX design for immersive storytelling and e-commerce projects, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences.
Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops to define user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Document UX requirements clearly, ensuring alignment between design, development, and client expectations.
Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UX flows in Figma to communicate design concepts effectively.
Create UI animations to enhance interactivity and storytelling elements.
Work closely with UI designers and developers to bring UX concepts to execution.
Stakeholder & Client Collaboration
Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics, ensuring all perspectives are considered while maintaining user-centered design principles.
Present UX concepts persuasively, balancing user needs with business objectives.
Provide process insights and recommendations to optimize workflow efficiency.
Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)
Experience conducting user research or usability testing to validate design decisions.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
Qualifications
7 years of UX / UI design experience, with a strong focus on immersive storytelling and e-commerce experiences.
Proficiency in Figma for UX / UI design, prototyping, and collaboration.
Experience creating UI animations to enhance engagement and interactivity.
Strong background in B2C and B2B digital experiences.
Proven ability to lead requirements-gathering workshops and translate insights into structured documentation.
Ability to work independently while coordinating with designers, developers, and clients.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills—comfortable working with challenging clients and stakeholders.
