United Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Public Transit Operator to join our team. As a Public Transit Operator, you will provide safe and efficient transportation services to residents in the UCAP service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver passengers safely and efficiently.
- Dispatch ride assignments and make decisions based on traffic and road conditions.
- Set up routes and schedules for special events.
- Conduct pre and post trip bus inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow company policies.
Requirements:
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Previous experience driving a shuttle bus.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and highways.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
