Senior Builder Finance Loan Administrator
United Community is seeking a skilled Senior Builder Finance Loan Administrator. You'll manage our Builder Finance real estate loan portfolio of around 1,000 loans, handling complex requests and ensuring all documentation meets our standards. Your role includes funding disbursements, coordinating inspections, processing payments, and managing loan renewals and exceptions. You'll be the go-to expert for loan documentation and issues, providing guidance to other Loan Administrators. You'll also train new employees, monitor their performance, and ensure compliance with bank policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle complex loan requests and issues, serving as the go-to expert for other Loan Administrators.
- Review loan documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure loan closing documents are complete and accurate.
- Fund initial disbursements for new loan closings and coordinate with LOC for booking.
- Coordinate inspections and process disbursements for construction and A&D loan draw requests.
- Process incoming payments.
- Create and maintain collateral release files, quote and process partial releases of collateral and payoffs, and prepare quitclaim deeds.
- Generate and review daily reports, reporting irregularities to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain Interest Reserve reporting.
- Train new employees and monitor their performance.
- Serve as backup for Builder Finance Commercial Real Estate LOA.
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum of ten years of loan operations or Builder Finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of real estate loan documentation.
- Excellent understanding of loan accounting, operations, and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of loan and legal documents.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple duties.
- Flexible to changing priorities and able to perform well under pressure.
- Team player, able to work cohesively with others within the department and the bank.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Completion of required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, and participation in internal and external training programs.
