JOB TITLE:  Funding Analyst

 

Reports To:     Funding Manager                                            

                                                                                    

 

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for applies Navitas Lease Corp Funding Guidelines to transactions, while evaluating packages to protect Navitas' interest and effectively serve the customer by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Interprets and accurately applies guidelines to standard funding packages, while checking for accuracy, acceptability and completeness, after successful completion of training, identifies exceptions to guidelines and determines the risk inherent to those exceptions, and makes the decision whether to fund the transaction.

 

Assists, corresponds and communicates with brokers, vendors, lessee/borrowers and co-workers regarding funding and documentation questions and concerns.

 

Verifies Navitas' yield is met on each transaction and commissions are within guidelines.

 

Judges the accuracy of verbal statements and questionable written documents.

 

Orders and evaluates on-site inspection verifications and reports.

 

ATTENDANCE:

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:     

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:                                              

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Accounting Software (QuickBooks); Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Amortization software (Tvalue).

  • Interact with Brokers, Vendors and Lessee/Borrowers continuously throughout the day in order to complete their job functions.  Interaction is daily with Credit, Accounting, and Customer Service departments within the company to assist/complete job functions.        Interaction is multiple times within a week with outside Inspection companies to coordinate site inspections.
