BancMac, within United Community Bank, is in search of a Mortgage Closer. This position is responsible for the management and oversight of real estate closing transactions, ensuring the file closes on or before the contract closing date while providing excellent service to all parties. Full-time position Monday/Friday. This is not a remote position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*Reviewing title commitments and other related documents associated with residential real estate transactions for compliance and accuracy.
*Preparing Closing Disclosures and other settlement documents necessary to complete closing transactions.
*Obtaining and preparing information needed to close a transaction.
*Working closely and coordinating closing transactions with lenders, staff, and any other relevant parties to ensure a proper timely closing transaction.
Knowledge & Skills:
*Customer service oriented, with the strong drive to meet goals!
*Excellent product knowledge, client relations, and presentation skills.
*Strong follow up skills.
*Attention to detail.
*REO, Retail, and/or multi-state experience a plus.
*Ability to effectively manage a high closing pipeline monthly
Required education: High school or equivalent
Required experience: Closing Experience Preferred. Knowledge of Mortgage Lending required.

Working Conditions: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to sit for up to eight hours
- Requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary
- Requires the ability to hear, speak and/or signal people
- Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in English
- Requires manual dexterity, typing, and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
