About the Role:
As a Project Manager at United Community, you'll be at the forefront of advancing our Project Management Office (PMO). You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and efficiently execute all project initiatives. Your role will involve providing portfolio-level support for internal operational projects across the Bank, working closely with project sponsors to ensure success.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and Maintain: Develop project schedules, budgets, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and enhance the customer experience.
- Communication: Set clear expectations, communicate effectively, and deliver engaging presentations.
- Project Tracking: Monitor key project milestones and adjust plans to meet customer needs.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day project operations and ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Conduct internal meetings to guide and direct the team effectively.
- Adaptability: Prioritize tasks and switch gears as necessary to meet project demands.
- Methodology Application: Apply PMO methodologies and enforce project standards.
- Transparency and Accountability: Promote greater transparency, predictability, and accountability for all projects.
- Reporting: Generate and share analytical reports with program participants.
- Support: Assist Senior Project Managers and the Director of PMO with reporting and other directives.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in a Bank or professional services organization.
- Proven ability to understand business objectives and develop effective strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP certification preferred.

Position Type:
Full-time position with schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
