Job Overview:

United Community & Family Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Autism Clinician to join our team at the Autism Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality care to children and families addressing behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric, or emotional needs.

About the Role:

This full-time licensed or license-eligible position involves providing clinical services, including assessments, treatment plans, and discharge plans. You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client-centered care consistent with quality standards, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Assess risk levels and determine appropriate care for clients presenting in crisis.
  • Offer on-call support during operational hours, arranging referrals, reporting suspected child abuse/neglect, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, maintain open communication with supervisor and support staff, and coordinate treatment with psychiatrists.
  • Coordinate services with relevant providers within and outside UCFS.
