We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Immunization Coordinator Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Immunization Coordinator with various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our immunization programs. Your primary responsibilities will include managing vaccine inventory, maintaining database records, assisting with scheduling, and staying informed about relevant deadlines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
-Order Vaccines: Ensure timely procurement of vaccines to maintain adequate stock levels.
-Database Management: Accurately enter lot numbers and related information into our database systems.
-Inventory Assistance: Support the back office with inventory management, including ordering vaccines and auditing stock levels.
-Patient Scheduling: Contact patients to schedule appointments for overdue or upcoming vaccines.
-Incident Reporting: Check and close out incident reports, ensuring all issues are documented and resolved promptly.
-Deadline Management: Monitor and stay ahead of important deadlines such as vaccine training renewals and thermometer calibration schedules.
-Vaccine Information: Keep updated about the latest vaccine information and protocols.
-Training Creation: Assist in creating training materials for the back office staff.
-Clinic Planning: Participate in the planning and execution of flu and COVID drive-thru clinics.
-Filling In: Step in to fulfill the duties of the Immunization Coordinator as needed.
Requirements
Experience: Previous administrative or coordination experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in database management and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.

A background in healthcare, administration, or a related field is a plus!

Pay: $17.10 - $17.63 per hour
