We are seeking a to hire an Program Manager for our group homes.
Min Requirements:
1. A.A. or B.A. in Education or related field strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with developmentally disabled or residential setting preferred.
3. Supervisory experience preferred.
4. Computer experience preferred.
5. Valid Florida Class "E" Driver's License and acceptable MVR.
6. Excellent communications skills required.
Specific Job Duties:
1) Assist with training of new staff by following up to ensure all daily tasks are completed
2) Monitor the daily responsibilities of PCI staff and follow up with program staff
3) Place forms in books at the end of each month:
· Shift Report
· Body Check
· Bed Check
4) Ensure that all reports are completed (written) by end of shift
5) Provide input for medical appointment questionnaires
6) Weigh residents and record weights by the 5th of each month.
7) Complete grocery and cleaning supplies inventories each week.
8) Prepare grocery list each week
9) Ensure food items needed for residents’ programs are in the house each week
10) Inspect house upon arrival to work each day
11) Review IPP’s, Hygiene Checklist, MAR’s, and Bed Checks to ensure that programs are implemented and report any patterns
12) Ensure that over-the-counter medications/treatments are in stock.
13) Oversee all aspects of kitchen maintenance:
· Meal preparation with participation of residents
· Storage of open items (open juices, poured into pitchers)
· Leftover/open food – store/wrapped properly and labeled
· Clean up after meals with participation of residents
· Lunch preparation with participation of residents
· Disposal of items not to be used and request replacement
14) Record inventory of residents’ personal hygiene kits, personal items and clothing.
15) Participate in quarterly Safety Committee Meetings.
16) Ensure that residents’ participate in all aspects of daily home activities.
17) Promote positive interaction/communication between all staff, and between all staff and residents.
18) Report personnel issues occurring in home to Program Coordinator.
19) Write/monitor completion of following reports to include specific details (positive & negative);
· UIR
· Date IEP sheets
· Seizure reports
· Daily Shift Log
· Communication Book
· GH to Workshop Report
· Van Mileage Log
· Behavioral Data Sheet
· Injury Report (staff)
20) Ensure daily menu is followed
21) Ensure completion of hygiene checklist by visual monitoring, i.e., showering, bathing, shaving, etc., and review findings with Program Coordinator each day
22) Inspect adaptive equipment each week for safety defects, i.e., loose screws, loose wheels, etc.
23) Clean adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) each week
24) Report any maintenance/safety problems to Program Coordinator
25) Report any unusable or ruined resident clothing to Program Coordinator
Exemption status : Non-Exempt (hourly)
