United Companies Air Center specializes in the detailing of interiors and exteriors on private and corporate aircraft at the Evansville Regional Airport. We are seeking a full time employee who will be charged with performing these tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Overview:
Aircraft detailer technician will provide a wide variety of exceptional detailing services to private and corporate aircraft. Exterior washing, polishing paint and buffing bright work is performed on a daily basis. Attention to detail is a must.

JOB DUTIES:
Aircraft Detailing
- Perform a thorough cleaning of each vehicle according to the work order, which includes interiors: Using hand power machines to polish paint or aluminum surfaces, vacuuming and using aerosol sprays, cleaning lavatories, and deep cleaning carpets with an extractor
- Exterior washing, polishing paint and buffing bright work is performed on a daily basis.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and supplies in a professional state of operation and cleanliness.
- Perform work with both speed and thoroughness to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operation of cleaning equipment and tools
- Maintain an inventory or ordering cleaning supplies and keep records of services performed
- Follow safety guidelines and practices in all business activities
- Employees must be able to safely climb ladder, operate lifts, and work in confined spaces
Communication
- Effectively communicate to Management on any additional time or resources needed to complete work.
- Ensure customers have a good understand of services being performed and make suggestions of any additional services recommended.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers, as assigned, to complete departmental tasks.
- When equipment/supply malfunctions occur, stop usage and promptly notify management.
Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required.
Experience
Prior aircraft, automotive, or other vehicle detailing experience is preferred, but not required.

- Be detail oriented in assessing customer needs, fully completing the work order, and meeting quality standards.
- Ability to stoop, bend, twist to reach over and around the entire vehicle, and work the majority of the day standing on concrete/hard surfaces, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must possess and continuously maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
