Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st shift – Saturdays as needed
United Construction & Forestry is looking for a Rental Return Coordinator responsible for identifying, documenting, communicating, invoicing and collecting (rental, demo, loaner) equipment damages and repair & maintenance from responsible parties. Employee will ensure that damages and expenses are billed properly to either customers or rental maintenance and will hold service departments accountable for quotes and staying within approved quotations.
What You’ll Do
- Support and follow processes and procedures to ensure all outgoing and incoming equipment is documented with pictures, rental in-out reports and any other information necessary to document and retrieve data electronically.
- Communicate with yard coordinators and machine inspectors immediately upon notification of machine damage.
- Communicate with local United service departments to facilitate accurate and comprehensive customer damage quotations within 48 hours.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner explaining damage verbally, supporting communication with photos and other resources to maximize recovery.
- Coordinate repairs with the service department upon customer or rental department approval. Strive to invoice responsible parties within 3 business days. Often damage repairs are to be billed prior to completion based on customer quotation allowing for enhanced recovery success.
- Monitor and approve “non- damage” internal rental return work orders above predetermined dollar threshold set by sales management.
- Requires excellent written, verbal and organizational skills needed for drafting reports, maintaining records, handling multiple units and customers.
What it Takes
- Prior technical experience to include service and repair
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, DBS and Salesforce
Preferred
- Associate’s degree
Education
- High school diploma or GED
