United Contractor Services is a growing national commercial construction company specializing in drywall, metal studs, acoustical ceiling, EIFS, stucco, and painting. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Drywall, Metal Framing, & ACT Installer to service our clients throughout the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install metal studs, tracks, and furring channels for commercial framing.
- Cut, secure, and fasten drywall to metal frameworks.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams for a smooth finish.
- Install suspended ceiling grids and drop-in acoustical tiles.
- Measure, cut, and fit panels around lighting, sprinklers, and vents.
- Ensure level and secure installation of ceiling systems.
- Ability to travel throughout Georgia and the United States as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in commercial metal framing, drywall, or ACT installation (2 years preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction specifications.
- Proficiency with industry tools (e.g., screw guns, lasers, grid cutters).
- Familiarity with commercial framing layouts and ceiling grid systems.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with fire-rated walls, shaft walls, and soundproofing techniques.
- Knowledge of seismic-rated ceiling installations.
- Ability to work efficiently in large-scale commercial projects (e.g., hospitals, offices, warehouses, data centers).
- Multilingual (English/Spanish) for diverse team communication.
