What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at United Coolair Corporation?
Responsible for Manufacturers Representative selection and management, sales training, driving market penetration in assigned US geographic region.
Assist Manufacturers Representative with joint sales calls, equipment selection and pricing support.
Provide market feedback and respond to representative requests with support from Inside Product Application Specialist.
Continuous evaluation and improvement of manufacturers representatives in the assigned region.
Issue new, maintain existing and enforce representative contracts, various regional sales reports, etc.
Schedule and attend rep/customer conferences, councils, and meetings.
Solicit rep/customer feedback and compile market data, make recommendations for modifying existing or new products based on feedback and market research.
Monitor, analyze, and rate representatives. Replace poor performing representatives, assist average performing representatives to become top producers, and maintain top performing representatives.
Complete knowledge and familiarization with all products computers Selection Programs, Power Points, White papers, technical data, literature, pricing and equipment.
Develop competitor comparisons n features and benefits of products.
Compile market data and find new applications and/or customers for all commercial and industrial products.
Develop rep/customer surveys regarding quote activity, customer satisfaction, customer needs and overall marketing requirement.
Solicit statistical information with regards to job quote, jobs sold, bookings, types of equipment sold.
Approval of margin analysis requests from the rep organization, to fulfill special pricing requirements and works with product specialist to get accurate costs for the applied specials.
