Job Description:
United Counseling Services is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide clinical services to mental health and substance use clients, including assessment, counseling, and case management. Your expertise will be utilized to consult with community agencies, schools, and professionals to enhance the overall delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Clinical Services: Provide individual, family, group, and relationship counseling services to clients, while coordinating services with other agencies and providers as necessary.
- Consultation and Education Services: Offer consultation and education services to the community, area agencies, schools, and the professional community, based on your areas of expertise or interest.
- Clinical Case Management and Social Support: Provide concurrent case management services as needed, which may include service coordination, collateral contacts, telephone support, and social support services.
- Clinical Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and administrative documentation, including client-specific assessments, case services, progress notes, and time sheets.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont and rostering
- Minimum one year of experience
