United Direct Solutions is looking for an Inkjet Operator for 2nd shift at our Louisville, Kentucky facility.
Schedule; Monday- Friday 2:30PM- 11:30PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. The Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and quality throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Utilize graphic design skills for layout design and screen printing tasks.
- Manage color accuracy and consistency throughout the printing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus.
- Experience with screen printing, layout design, prepress, and press operations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of color management principles.
- Knowledge of typography and its application in design is beneficial.
