United Direct Solutions is looking for a 3rd Shift Machine Operator at our Cincinnati, OH facility.
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 11:30PM- 7:30AM
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating various machinery within a factory setting. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of quality products while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
- Set up machines for production runs, including programming and calibration as necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
- Collaborate with assembly line teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery operation and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot machine issues as they arise, utilizing mechanical knowledge to resolve problems quickly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a factory environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
- Familiarity with programming machinery is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is an advantage.
