Schedule: 3rd Shift Monday- Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mail Sorter to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting and organizing mail and packages to ensure timely delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently.
- Organize mail by destination, ensuring proper routing for delivery.
- Load and unload mail into USPS containers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sorting goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate sorting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, including loading and unloading packages up to 20 pounds.
