What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Education Specialist position at United Driving School?
At United Driving School, we have over 40 years of experience in serving Minnesota families. We pride ourselves on customer service and making the transition to becoming a licensed driver as smooth as possible. We are looking for driving instructors that are passionate about kids and helping them on their path to independence. You will be asked to teach classes for students, take students out behind the wheel and teach them to drive. We are looking to hire people with a fun and energetic personality. Responsibilities
Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most exposure to driving for the student on that lesson day.
Collect payments and issue receipts
Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
Report any car maintenance required to office
Keep cars clean and maintained for student use
Skills
Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving record
Minimum visual acuity of 20/40(or corrected to 20/40)
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Availability to work weekends and work 3-7PM
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
