Product Management Intern

United Educators is looking for a student working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus on legal studies or risk management, who is eager to learn about the insurance company market, insurance products and services –specifically policy forms for educational institutions to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. The intern will collaborate with Underwriting and Business Development to further the product team’s efforts toward meeting our members’ needs through insurance products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing and updating policy language to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with industry standards.
• Compile and aggregate market analysis to assist in identifying trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to product specifications, policy changes, and market research findings.
• Work with Underwriting team to understand member and insurance market product needs.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities. Develop reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the product management team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in legal studies or risk management program.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to review, digest, and analyze language and data.

The below annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range: $24 USD - $24 USD
