Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our team and gain valuable exposure across various departments within the electrical distribution industry. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of tasks, collaborate with professionals from different areas, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. This role offers insight into multiple facets of the business, from warehouse logistics and operations to project management, finance or marketing. You will have access to all departments within United. Ideal candidates should be eager to learn, adapt, and are interested in developing skills within multiple areas of our business.

- Exposure to an executive level meeting

Position Responsibilities:
- Physical work accurately picking material in our warehouse using Radio Frequency technology or RF Scanner's
- Participate in weekly Intern “huddle” calls where they will collaborate with other interns, debrief on work experiences and experience professional coaching from mentors
- Special Project work to be assigned based on location
- Researching new software tool
- Proactive calling to customers
- Training asset creation
- Required LLL (Lifelong Learning) online courses designed to expose you to Professional Development/Lifelong learning in the workplace
This is a Safety Sensitive Position
- May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.
