Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Possible Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; 9:00am – 6:00 pm
Pay: Negotiable

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of children to assess physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and limitations to determine their therapy needs and goals.

Develop and implement treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and timelines for the child.

Conduct mobility, feeding, and cognitive tests.
-
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development.

Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Teach parents how to perform exercises with their children and assist the child in completing exercises at home.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in therapy from an accredited program required.

Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Therapy
-
Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment and modalities.

Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient.

Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.

Strong knowledge and experience in administering various assessment tools, treatment plans and equipment.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
