Position Summary
We’re looking for a skilled Associate ETL Developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong passion for building robust data systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, working closely with teams across the company to optimize data systems that drive key business decisions. Your expertise will help us refine our processes and ensure data accuracy, all while supporting our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and structure large, complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business needs, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Innovate and improve internal processes, from redesigning infrastructure for scalability to automating manual tasks, making data delivery more efficient.
- Build the infrastructure necessary for the seamless extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data, leveraging tools like AWS and SQL.
- Develop and implement analytical tools that provide valuable insights into key business metrics, driving operational efficiency and customer growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data, Design, Product, and Executive teams, to address technical data issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist the Executive, Experience, and Marketing teams in maintaining and enhancing their data infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for data ingestion and processing, always looking for ways to improve.
- Implement rigorous data validation and cleansing techniques to ensure data consistency and reliability.
- Potential other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with both relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) required, and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases preferred. Ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge with Python.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- A solid understanding of information security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a focus on deadlines.
- Full time, salary position. $80,000 - $85,000/yr, negotiable based on experience.
