Job Summary
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels. You will oversee the daily activities of the inventory staff, analyze inventory data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records. You will also be expected to develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies, as well as assist in indicating parts or material that needs to be placed on order.

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels. You will oversee the daily activities of the inventory staff, analyze inventory data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records. You will also be expected to develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies, as well as assist in indicating parts or material that needs to be placed on order.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Material handlers, ensuring that they adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Oversee organization of materials and parts to ensure efficient workflow and space utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure that all materials are ordered and delivered on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies or variances.
- Train and mentor material handling personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are properly trained in material movement procedures to and from departments as well as safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery to departments to meet production needs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Manage schedules of employees to ensure timecards are up to date and accurate.
- Develop and improve our inventory system to accurately allocated and track on-hand material.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM ' 2:30 PM.
