What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasker position at UNITED FACILITIES?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. This employee will perform other duties as required.
70% - Tasking Duties:
· Checks outbound orders and verifies all orders are 100% complete; enters PRO numbers on LTL (less than a truckload) shipments.
· Manages inbound orders and decides whether they should be placed in the lot or at a door. Assigns drop trailers and inbound trailers to dock doors.
· Reviews all completed inbound orders for accuracy.
· Distributes completed outbound loader sheets to the Welcome Center for order completion.
· Maintains the work queue for all pick lists, replenishments, transfers, unloads, load outs, and cycle counts by assigning the various job functions to the appropriate warehouse personnel for completion.
· Prioritizes work by appointment times and importance.
· Sets up orders for the current workday by assigning orders to staging lanes.
· Conducts door checks.
· Allocates orders and reviews pick lists for staged product to ensure accuracy.
· Makes appropriate cuts on out-of-stock products.
· Fills out the load outbound audit sheet, prints staging lane summary and staging land detail report, and attaches these reports to the outbound audit sheet.
· Distributes audit sheets to the Supervisor or Team Leader for checking outbound orders.
· Inputs CHEP pallet count into the WMS system.
· Maintains outbound dock sheet and other logs.
· Completes daily outbound schedule to ensure all orders are loaded, as well as maintains the dock sheet for current inbound and outbound orders.
25% - Communication Duties:
· Assists warehouse personnel with questions.
· Communicates with the Welcome Center on inbound and outbound orders.
· Checks and responds to emails regarding orders or daily tasks.
· Advises the Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Planner of any issues with current/future orders, carrier issues, etc.
5% - Safety:
· Follows general safety practices and procedures including proper use of PPE and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, or safety concerns.
· Reports food safety issues to UF Management immediately. Follows any food safety processes and guidelines that are provided.
· Ensures work areas are free from hazards.
· Attends and engages in safety meetings and discussions.
