PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Boost Sales: Use suggestive selling techniques to offer related items and accessories, driving multiple-unit sales.
· Show Your Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of store products and services to build sales and enhance customer service.
· Efficient Transactions: Execute all systems and point of sales procedures smoothly and efficiently.
· Communicate Effectively Engage with customers, fellow associates and management with excellent communication skills.
· Hit Your Targets: Achieve minimum monthly sales goals and be recognized for your success!
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· **Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a retail furniture environment is preferred but not required if you have the right attitude and drive.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Communication: Strong ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
· Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with computer systems, programs and email.
· Resilience: Ability to work productively and effectively under stressful conditions; such as, tight time frames and heavy workloads.
· Customer Focused: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle difficult customers with ease.
· Initiative: A proactive approach, independent thinking and the ability to implement new ideas.
· Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Retail Sales Experience: At least one (1) year of retail sales experience is preferred but not required
· Tech Skills: Proficient with computer systems.
· Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and experience.
· Education: High school diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Active Role: Most of the time will be spent sitting, standing and walking long hours.
· Moderate Lifting: Occasionally lift and handle materials or equipment up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
